Rhetoric
Roles: speaker, audience, occasion, argument, persuasion, timing, appeal
The art and study of persuasion through language. As a source domain, rhetoric exports structural concepts like kairos (opportune timing), ethos/pathos/logos (modes of appeal), and the distinction between argument and audience. The frame foregrounds that communication is never neutral: every utterance has a speaker, an audience, an occasion, and a strategic relationship among the three.
